We would like to draw your attention to the GEOSUR_2010 Symposium that will
be held in *Mar del Plata** (Argentina), *on *22-23 November, 2010*.

More information about registration, abstract submission, and accommodation,

GEOSUR_2010 will provide a forum for geoscientists from all countries to
present and discuss recent progress in the broad field of geology and
geophysics of the Southern Hemisphere. This Symposium is organized by
Argentinean and Italian Earth Sciences Institutions which are involved in
joint researches for the study of the Antarctic and Sub-Antarctic regions.

The main conference topics are:

·        Regional geology

·        Geodynamics and geotectonics

·        Magmatic products and processes

·        Marine Geology and Geophysics

·        Geomorphology and coastal evolution

·        Ice sheet dynamics

·        Paleontology, paleoecology, and paleoclimate

·        Sedimentary basins and processes

·        Earthquake seismology

·        Environmental geology

·        Remote sensing, GIS

·        Geology and geothermal resources



The organisers will also welcome suggestions for topical sessions that may
be included in the programme. Please note that the deadline for registration
and abstract submission is 15th April 2010.
