En la segunda semana de agosto (8-13) de este año, tendrá lugar la reunión 
de la AGU "The meeting of the Americas" en Foz do Iguazu, Brasil 
(http://www.agu.org/meetings/ja10/).

Quiero hacerles notar que hay una sesión dedicada a anomalías magnéticas en 
el hemisferio sur:

GP08: Magnetic anomalies of Equatorial area and Southern Hemisphere

La sesión está relacionada con la actualización del mapa digital de 
anomalías magnéticas del mundo.
En el mensaje debajo hay más información.

La fecha límite para enviar abstracts es el 31 de marzo.

Invitamos a enviar abstracts y/o a asistir a la sesión.

included in the scientific program of The Meeting of the Americas at Foz do 
Iguassu, Brasil 8 to 13 August 2010.

Description: To update World Digital Magnetic Anomaly Map (WDMAM) 2007 to 
2011 presentations are called to improve data reduction, anomaly definition 
and calculation, modeling and combining of data sets, plus reporting 
geophysical-geological interpretation of global scale anomalies. 
Contributions are especially solicited for sea and land surveys on the 
magnetically underrepresented southern hemisphere and equatorial area, as 
well as for improved models to patch gaps in the near surface data, and to 
homogenize all magnetic anomaly data in a global sense.

The deadline for abstract submission is March 31.
