Call for Entries to the
Basin Research Student Prize 2011
Basin Research, the journal published on behalf of the
International Association of Sedimentologists and the
European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers, is
inviting applications for its 2011 Studentship Prize.
The award, founded in 2007, is designed to acknowledge
and support early career scientists in the field of
sedimentary basin research.
Students attending and presenting at the American
Geophysical Union Fall Meeting (AGU) 2011 are invited to

their PhD.
Applications are short listed by the Basin Research
editorial board and the winner is announced in November
ahead of AGU. The winner receives a cash prize towards
travel and registration plus a certificate and
acknowledgement on the Basin Research web page.
