Estimados colegas,

Cordiales saludos,

Claudia Prezzi, Dhananjay Ravat y Valeria Barbosa

Dear colleagues,
We would like to invite you to submit an abstract for a contribution to
the Session “Magnetic Methods” (GP09) to be held at "The Meeting of the
Americas" ( AGU), from May 14 to 17, 2013 in Cancun, Mexico.

This session highlights recent advances in all areas of the application of
magnetic methods to solve geological, environmental, archaeological and
engineering issues, as well as advances that promote the exploration for
oil, gas and ore deposits. Contributions are solicited that discuss modern
magnetic surveys and methods of any spatial scale for regional tectonic
and crustal studies, geohazards investigations and magnetic method based
exploration. This session will also address integrated analysis of land,
marine, airborne and satellite data; processing, modelling, inversion and
imaging of magnetic data and joint interpretation of magnetic and other
geophysical data.

The abstract deadline is February 6, 2013. The presentations will be
distributed between oral presentations and poster sessions. Please, be
aware that we cannot guarantee oral presentations for your contribution.
All abstracts will pay an abstract fee, participants to the meeting pay
the registration fee (amount depending on status and AGU membership - no
abstract fee for participants from Low and Lower Middle Income countries).
General information on the meeting is available at:  http://moa.agu.org/2013/
Please, distribute this information among the colleagues which might be
interested in participating in the session.
Looking forward to see you in Cancun,

Claudia Prezzi, Dhananjay Ravat and Valeria Barbosa
