Entre el 23 y el 25 de julio de 2014 se llevarán a cabo en la ciudad de 
Bogotá, Colombia, el III Congreso Latinoamericano de Sismología y el II 
Simposio Latinoamericano y del Caribe de Geofísica. Paralelamente con estos eventos tendrá lugar la Primera Asamblea 
Regional de la Comisión Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Sismología – 
LACSC (subcomisión de la International Association of Seismology and 
Physics of the Earth’s Interior – IASPEI). Adicionalmente, se llevarán a cabo varios worshops bajo la dirección de
