[Geoinfo] Milka Brodtkorb

To the grieving community for Milka Brodtkorb.

I was told by Dr. Raul Lira that Milka Brodtkorb passed away a few days ago. 

I knew her since the eighties of the last century when I met her during a conference
of IAGOD in Ottawa, Canada. She invited me to come to Argentina and do research
there on mineralogical aspects.  Fruitful, almost 25 years of cooperation followed, 
resulting in numerous  papers.  I will never forget this prosperous time during 
which I learned through Milka a lot about mineralogy in Argentina.

It was a honor to me to name a rare selenide species from Tuminico, La Rioja
Province, which we had detected in 1998 , as “BRODTKORBITE”.  So she and her 
merits will not be never forgotten.

My prayers for her and the wish of a warm welcome at heaven.
