Estimada comunidad científica de las ciencias naturales, nos ponemos en contacto con ustedes con el fin de invitarlos a participar de un conversatorio con editores de Nature Communications (Dr. Sebastian Müeller y Dra. Rebecca Nelly) a llevarse a cabo el día jueves 27 de abril a las 15hs. Básicamente, el objetivo de esta reunión, ideada y motivada por los mencionados editores, es dar a conocer el proceso editorial de las revistas de Nature, de tal modo de desmitificarlo. Asimismo, y no menos importante, se comentarán las metodologías a seguir en caso de tener intenciones de solicitar becas para publicar artículos con un costo reducido o sin costo.



La reunión seguirá la siguiente agenda:

1) Charla de la Dra. Rebecca Neely

a. Introducción a las revistas de Nature

b. Tipos de contenido (artículos de investigación y reseñas principales, noticias y comentarios)

C. Asesoramiento para el envío de manuscritos

2) Charla del Dr. Sebastian Müeller

a. El proceso editorial de un manuscrito enviado a Nature Comunicaciones

b. Publicación de su artículo y esfuerzos de promoción (Comunicados de prensa, Noticias y

Vistas, Twitter)

3) Sesión abierta de preguntas y respuestas

a. Las preguntas se pueden hacer a través del chat de texto de la reunión o en persona

b. Las preguntas se pueden enviar previamente a los editores.



Por otra parte, Rebecca y Sebastian han planteado la posibilidad de concretar reuniones breves (10-20 minutos) con investigadores interesados en discutir sus proyectos científicos específicos. Para ser efectivos, estas reuniones deben ser 1: 1 o bien con grupos pequeños. Para organizar tales reuniones se pueden contactar directamente con ellos a:
