[Geoinfo] Grants for Symposium and IAL-IPA Virtual Meeting Announcements

We have more awesome news about *3rd Paleolimnology and Limnogeology
International Symposium*, this time for students!



**IAS Travel Grants Available*

We are happy to announce that the International Association of
Sedimentologists (IAS) will provide Travel Grants for international
students who submit an abstract to the symposium. Application to the grants
is through the IAS website and deadline is *May 30th, 2025*.

**IAL-IPA Student Inclusion Grant* *Available*

We are also happy to announce the *IAL-IPA Student Inclusion Grant*, which
will support student inclusion in the upcoming 3rd Paleolimnology and
Limnogeology International Symposium in Aix-les-Bains, France, Oct. 6th–10th,
2025.

The grants will be awarded to students who present at the conference in
person (oral or poster), and will cover registration fees and accommodation
(provided) in Aix-les-Bains. We expect to offer four to six grants in total.

Deadline for applications is *May 30th, 2025*. Please see the Awards page

In other important news for ECR and the community:



**Abstract submission is now open* for the *Virtual IAL-IPA ECR Meeting*,
scheduled for *June 16–18, 2025.*

Please note that *the virtual and in-person meetings are complementary yet
independent events*. The virtual meeting is specifically designed for Early
Career Researchers (ECRs), as well as for more advanced researchers
(passive participation only) interested in engaging with and supporting
ECRs. Each meeting has its own abstract submission timeline.

*Abstract submission deadline for the Virtual IAL-IPA ECR Meeting is May
12th, 2025.*
