Nos es grato anunciar la publicación de un nuevo número (Vol. 32.1, Julio 2025) del Latin American Journal of Sedimentology and Basin Analysis . 

Este número está enteramente dedicado a una síntesis de los rasgos geológicos principales y a desarrollos recientes sobre varios aspectos de la Cuenca del Golfo San Jorge en la Patagonia Central, Argentina. Extendemos nuestro agradecimiento a José M. Paredes por su dedicación como Editor Invitado, y a todos los autores que contribuyeron con sus excelentes artículos que hicieron posible este volumen.

We are pleased to announce the publication of a new issue (Vol. 32.1, July 2025) of the Latin American Journal of Sedimentology and Basin Analysis . 

This issue is entirely dedicated to a synthesis of the main geological features and recent developments on various aspects of the Golfo San Jorge Basin in Central Patagonia, Argentina. We extend our special thanks to José M. Paredes for his dedicated work as Guest Editor, and to all the contributing authors for their excellent papers that made this special issue possible.
