Dear colleagues,

It was published in the Official Gazette (DOU) of Brazil, Section 3,
pp. 25-37, of 4 of June 2012 the call for several permanent positions
at the National Observatory / MCTI.

For Geophysics the following positions are open:
- 3 Technologists (Petrophysics (Senior 1 with salary R$ 12.685,16),
Scientific Instrumentation (Full II-1 with salary R$ 9.905,28) and
Methods of Electromagnetic Induction (Full II-1 with salary R$
9.905,28))

- 3 Researchers (Seismic (Joint 1 with salary R$ 10.350,68), Potential
Methods (Joint 1 with salary R$ 10.350,68) and Seismology(Associate 1
with salary R$ 11.690,76))

There are an extra 13rd salary and one extra third of salary during
the month of vacations. All the careers have promotion possibilities.

There are not specific language requirements (in principle all tests
will be performed in Portuguese and English).
