Dear Safyr6 Users,

I am sorry I did not mention it specifically in my email last week.

Those of you who use a 3D ROTATOR and SAFYR6 VER. 6.1.6 (released at
19-Jun-2015) please(!) upgrade to a higher version. Most of you already
did upgrade so I just want to make sure that Safyr6 (6.1.6.) is not used.

Explanation:
In 6.1.6, a significant error was found in calculation of mean
susceptibility value (Kmean) when anisotropy is measured using a 3D
Rotator. Measured anisotropy data were corrected for empty holder
susceptibility TWO TIMES causing a slight error in Kmean value, in
another words, calculated Kmean was lower than real value by empty
holder susceptibility value. Anisotropy results (i.e. principal
directions, anisotropy factors...) were not affected.

Classical (1-Axis) Rotator is OK. Previous versions of Safyr5, and all
subsequent version of Safyr6 (6.1.7 & 6.1.8) are OK!

         'The routine may have crashed down for non-anisotropic specimens.
