Dear colleagues,
We kindly ask for your help in compiling a dataset on how ARMs and AARMs
are measured in different labs worldwide. It has been 15 years since the
interlaboratory calibration study of Sagnotti et al. (2003, PEPI), and it
is of interest what methods are currently standard in our community.
The ARM intensity for a single specimen can vary depending on the AF range
used, the strength of the DC field, and the decay rate over which the ARM
was imparted. Decay rates, in particular, are only rarely reported, making
it difficult to compare results obtained by different groups. We are
interested in how ARMs and AARMs are typically measured across different
magnetic laboratories.
Can you please fill in this form by Feb 15th 2018:

The results from this survey will be compiled and shared in an anonymous
form in the IRM Quarterly, and in a manuscript on AARMs and their variation
with experimental parameters that we are currently working on.
Thank you very much in advance for your help!
Andrea
