[Sexta reunión Bienal Latinmag 2019]

Dear Latinmag Community,

We write to inform you about the current situation in the country and
to *confirm
the Latinmag 2019 congress on the scheduled dates*. Although protests
continue in Santiago and throughout the country, and the political
situation remains uncertain, we have found that, in the last week, the
protests in Rancagua have developed peacefully, with the exception of some
acts of violence at the end of the journey.

However, the usual stability has not yet been achieved, so we have
conversations with the University and constantly assess the situation. For
this reason, and as we cannot rule out that the protests can intensify, we
would like to have as much information as possible in the event of having
to reconsider the dates of the congress. To do this, we ask you to answer
this small questionnaire, and send it by email no later than Tuesday,
November 5:
1) Full Name
2) Hotel address (address and city)
3) Do you have the possibility of changing the plane ticket (yes/ no)?
4) Do you have the possibility of changing the accommodation reservation
(yes / no)?
5) I would attend the congress in the current conditions (yes / no)
6) If the answer to point 5 is no: could you attend the congress if it is
postponed?

Finally, we leave you at the end of this email some links with information
about Chilean news and some information media in the country. Please, in
