[Latinmag] Castle meeting 2020

Dear colleagues!

I would like to inform you that 17th CASTLE MEETING 2020 will be held from
23rd till 29th August 2020 in Trakošćan, Croatia. CASTLE is prestigious
series of meetings with tradition of more than 30 years founded by Professor
Eduard Petrovsky and supported by IAGA. This year it will be held in
Trakošćan, Croatia, near the most beautiful and best preserved castle in
Croatia. It will be organized by me and my colleagues from Ruđer Bošković
Institute, Zagreb, Croatia and from University of Zagreb. 

A rich scientific and social program is planned. Among other things a whole
day excursion to island Krk is planned, also visit to world famous Krapina
Neanderthal museum, sightseeing of Trakošćan castle, tasting of local wines,
traditional dinner with local food, etc.  You can find all information

Abstract submission and registration are open and dead-line is at the 1st of
April 2020.

Also, a pre-Castle meeting workshop, "Short course on the use of magnetic
susceptibility in Earth Sciences" for young researchers and students will be
held in Varaždin, Croatia from 21st - 23rd of August 2020. More information

A call for FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS AND STUDENTS to attend
the short course is announced and can be found at the following link:

Young researchers and students, especially those from low income countries,
are encouraged to submit their applications for support by March 8th 2020!
Please have in mind that dead-line for applications for Short course is by
March 15th 2020!
