Dear Colleagues,

Please find information here [1], on a new PhD position available in the
Yale Paleomagnetic Laboratory beginning as early as next year.  The
research, funded by NSF's Frontier Research in Earth Sciences Program,
is part of a multidisciplinary project aimed to gain a holistic
understanding of the Ediacaran-Cambrian transition.  The project will
include field work, laboratory measurements, and analyses of
paleomagnetic data in generating global plate reconstructions at the
dawn of animal life.

Applications to the Yale Graduate School [2] will be due on January 2nd,
2021.  Requests to waive the application fee are due Nov 30th, 2020.

Please encourage interested students to contact me, to share their
enthusiasm for the Ediacaran-Cambrian transition!
