Hi All,
Applied Physics Systems has developed a new form of rock magnetometer
that will be of interest to many within the paleomagnetic and rock
magnetic community. There will be a webinar next week to share many of
the details of this new system as well as ideas for how it may continue
to be developed in the future.
The development of this new system was initiated, in part, by a
community letter sent in December 2019 to both Applied Physics Systems
and WSGI (who together form 2G Enterprises).
Please see the details below and register to attend!

LATEST ADVANCEMENTS IN MAGNETOMETERS FOR GEOLOGISTS
Applied Physics Systems will share the latest advancements for accurate
measurements at room temperature with tabletop devices. This new class
of instruments provides another tool for rock and paleomagnetism studies
at a fraction of the cost of tradition SQUID-based magnetometers.
Please feel free to share the invitation to anyone who may be interested
in this new development.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Bill Goodman, Founder and CTO at Applied Physics Systems [5], a leader
in the design and manufacture of high-performance magnetometers, high
performance accelerometers, directional and gamma sensors, and complete
Measurement While Drilling (MWD) systems.
Dave Schuler, Engineering Lead / System Engineer at Applied Physics
Systems [6], is a specialist in the superconducting quantum interference
devices (SQUIDs) and cryogenic systems. He leads the technical team of
engineers in developing outstanding instruments for geological
measurements. Dave's hardware design and team leadership experience has
driven his desire for more effective analysis technology.
