17th Castle Meeting on Palaeo, Rock and Environmental Magnetism, 
Trakoscan, Croatia, 28.08 – 03.09.2022

Dear Colleagues,

this is a reminder that the Biennial Castle Meeting on “New trends in 
Rock, Palaeo- and Environmental Magnetism” will take place this year in 
Trakoscan, Croatia! The conference will be held from the 28.. August 
until 3. September, 2022 at the Trakoscan Hotel. Covid protocols that 
are required by the Croatian and local governments will be upheld. In 
any case, the organising committee requires that all participants have a 
valid Covid/green pass. Moreover, if conditions warrant, the following 
measures will be in force on site: monitoring body temperature on daily 
basis upon request, antigene self-tests will be available to be 
performed every other day, sale of FFP2 face masks, medical assistance 
upon request, isolated serviced room(s) for those showing symptoms.

Deadline for abstracts submission is 14 April 2022.

Information on the short course for students is is also available. It 
would be useful if students, who have interest in the course, should 
contact Dr. Stanislav Franciskovic-Bilinski (francis en irb.hr) to aid the 
short course team in planning.
