[Latinmag] IAGA Award Recipients 2023

IAGA whishes to announce this year’s award recipients.

*Early Career Awards* for outstanding contributions at IAGA-sponsored 
workshops go to Miroslav Hanzelka (Charles University, Prague) for his 
presentation at the VERSIM
  VLF/ELF Remote Sensing of Ionospheres and Magnetospheres online 
meeting in November 2022, and Bram Vaes (Utrech University) for his 
presentation at the 17th Castle Meeting on New Trends on Paleo, Rock and 
Environmental Magnetism in August/September 2022.

The *Shen Kuo Medal for Interdisciplinary Achievements* will be given to 
Nils Olsen, DTU Kopenhagen.

The awards will be presented at the *IAGA Ceremony at IUGG 2023 in 
Berlin, July 15, 15:30 – 17:00*. Nils Olsen will give the Shen Kuo Medal 
Lecture, entitled “Earth’s magnetic field - From the core to the 
magnetosphere”
