  Dear colleagues,

  I'd like to bring your attention to an open PhD or Masters position in
paleomagnetism at the University of Florida (UF), starting in Fall 2025.
I am looking to recruit a student(s) to work on my funded NSF project
"CAREER: Full-vector Characterization of the recent (0-5 Myr)
Geomagnetic field using novel magnetic field recorder". This project
will involve paleodirectional, paleointensity, rock magnetic, and
geochronologic analysis of clinker deposits from the Powder River Basin,
USA.

  Although funding is connected to the project, there is also room to
work on other projects, e.g. those related to the KPg, or to work on new
ideas. Students with an interest in paleomagnetism are encouraged to
apply. A background in paleomagnetism is a plus but is not required.
Potential Masters or PhD students are welcome.
