[Latinmag] Call for bids for IAG-IAGA Joint Assembly 2029

[IAGA Secretary General]

Dear colleagues,

IAGA and IAG are calling for bids to host a joint IAG-IAGA Assembly in 
2029. All bids are welcome, but, as IUGG 2023 and the IAGA-IASPEI Joint 
Assembly 2025 as well as the IAG Scientific Assembly 2025 were in 
Europe, proposals from other continents are particularly encouraged. If 
you enjoyed participating in an IAGA or Joint Scientific Assembly in the 
past, please consider to host the next one in your country. The local 
organising committee should be lead by scientists from the IAGA and IAG 
communities. Please share this call within your national networks or any 
colleagues from the community who might be interested to host such a 
meeting.

under "News". Also don't hesitate to contact me or the IAG Sectretary 
General for further information.

The deadline for submission of bids to the Secretary Generals of both 
associations is March 31, 2026, as also indicated in the pdf document.
