who decide to attend the excursion to the Paricutin volcano will be part of an
inter-laboratory methodological exercise where they will be able to carry out
paleomagnetic sampling in historical lava flows emitted between 1943 and 1947.
For this activity, we will provide all the necessary equipment (drills,
orientation tools...). In addition, direct geomagnetic measurements will be
carried out <i>in situ. </i>During the excursion to Tzintzuntzan, a small
practical archaeomagnetic sampling workshop <i>in situ</i> is planned.<span></span></span></p>
