Dear Colleagues,
The organisers of the ICCP 2011 extended the deadlines for the early bird inscription and the abstract submission to 1st of May (see message below).
Please consider submitting a contribution to the SCCS session S2: Carboniferous Stage Boundaries: the Present State and Future (Chairs: Barry Richards, Xiangdong Wang, Katsumi Ueno, John Groves).
See you in Perth,

Dear Friends,
Some members have requested that ICCP 2011 extend the dates for early bird registration, as well as submission of abstract and field excursions. The committee has agreed that early bird registration, submission of abstracts, and registration for the mid-conference excursions be extended to May 1, 2011.
However, the deadline of registration for the pre- and post-conference field excursions (Canning Basin and Perth-Carnarvon trips, respectively) remains unchanged: April 1, 2011, just two weeks away. This is because booking accommodation and other logistic preparations to some remote areas requires several months notice. Note that the field excursions are proving popular and registrations for these excursions are already above the minimum required, so there is a possibility we may exceed their maximum numbers. Please register as soon as possible if you wish to participate in these excursions!
Additionally, if you have booked for the pre-congress trip, please book your flights to and from Broome and your accommodation as soon as possible, as tourist numbers to Broome in the southern winter can be high.
Finally, I apologize for cross-sending to these who have registered already. Please see the attached revised circular and website [http://www.iccp2011.org] for more information.
Thanks and Cheers!
Zhong Chen, on behalf of ICCP2011 organizing committee
