Dear colleagues and friends, 

On behalf of the Editorial Board, I would like to announce the launching of a new Earth Science Journal  : "The Research Journal of Earth Sciences (RJES)", which an international scientific journal edited by the International Digital Organization for Scientific Information (IDOSI). The journal provides a common forum covering all aspects of Geosciences and welcomes papers in Seismology, Sedimentology, Geomorphology, Geophysics, Geochemistry, Petrology, Volcanology, Geochronology, Metamorphic and Structural Geology, Hydrology, Geodynamics, Paleoenvironment, Remote Sensing, Geomodelling, Ore & Hydrocarbon Exploration, Geoheritage, etc.. The journal calls for original papers, review articles, technical reports and short communications containing new insights into any aspect of Fundamental or Applied Sciences, provided they have not been published or are not being considered for publication elsewhere. 

RJES will appear four times a year, in March, June, September, and December. To launch the first issue of this journal, we would like to encourage publication of a "special issue". We welcome all suggestions about special and appealing topics in Earth Sciences.
