[Geoinfo] Session on Tectonic Applications of EM at Iguassu Meeting

We want to make sure you are aware of the session

GP18: 	Probing Tectonic Processes With Electromagnetic Methods

at the Meeting of the Americas, August 8-13, Iguassu, Brazil

Papers are solicited covering all uses of electromagnetic (EM) techniques to 
understand tectonics and related processes. Of particular interest are papers 
using EM to study areas with active deformation. This includes continental 
plateaus, accretionary wedges, volcanic arcs, back-arcs and hotspots, 
landslides, and fault zones exhibiting tremor and aseismic slip.  Papers which 
involve joint interpretation of electrical and seismic properties are 
especially encouraged.

Invited papers on Tibetan tectonics and the M=8 Lomen Shan Earthquake,
Earthscope MT (the very large MT array in the US) and marine studies
are expected to be presented.
