Last call for abstracts for the session GP15 entitled "Paleosecular Variation, Excursions and Reversals of the Earth Magnetic field. From data to models" at “The Meeting of the Americas 2010� that will be held in Foz de Iguassu, Brazil from 8th to 13th of August 2010.

Please find the session description below:
The temporal evolution and the geometry of the geomagnetic field are intimately linked to the mechanism of field generation in the Earth’s core. The aim of the session is to provide an open forum on integration of new palaeomagnetic data and geomagnetic modelling. Contributions on new palaeomagnetic records of paleosecular variation, excursions and reversals are welcomed, as are efforts to combine all available data into geomagnetic models.
