Dear colleagues

We would like draw your attention to a scientific workshop on induced
seismicity that
will take place in Davos, Switzerland, March 10 - 13 2015. Attached
please find the second circular as a
PDF file for your information on the workshop objectives, location and
format.
The workshop website and registration can be found at:
http://www.seismo.ethz.ch/schatzalp/

We are aiming to bring together about 120 - 150 of the leading scientists
in the domain of induced seismicity for this
2 1/2 day workshop. The workshop will have eight topical sessions, each
introduced by 2-3 invited keynote lectures (20 minutes)
and followed by 3-4 solicited talks and a poster session. There will be a
moderated discussion at the end of each session
and again at the end of the workshop. As a workshop deliverable, we strive
to establish current best practice in managing induced seismicity
and develop a roadmap for future R&D needs.

To make the workshop highly attractive, we have chosen a lovely conference
venue location in a top skiing resort during the best time of the year for
snow activities. We also have managed to invite a distinguished group of
keynote speakers from around the globe:

   - Greg Beroza (Stanford University, USA)
   - Emily Brodsky (University Santa Cruz, USA)
   - Massimo Cocco (INGV, Italy)
   - Bernard Dost (KNMI, The Netherlands)

   - Honn Kao (Geological Survey of Canada)
   - Stanislaw Lasocki (Polish Academy of Science, Poland)
   - Ian Main (University of Edinburgh, Scotland)
   - Ernest Majer (Berkeley Lab, USA)
