Paleo, Rock and Environmenal Magnetism: Methods, Techniques and New Results
During the Annual Meeting of the Mexican Union of Geophysics
held in Puerto Vallarta last October, a special session (SE10) was devoted to
“RECENT ADVANCES IN PALEO, ROCK AND ENVIRONMENTAL MAGNETISM – 5TH
ANNIVERSARY OF THE ‘LABORATORIO INTERINSTITUCIONAL DE MAGNETISMO
NATURAL’ (LIMNA)”. Several high-quality contributions to that session
are already commited for a special issue in the well-established
peer-review journal Studia Geophysica et Geodaetica. The aim of the
volume is to present new Paleo, Rock- and Environmental Magnetism
results as well as broad discussion on methods and techniques across
these disciplines.
Papers will not be restricted to those presented at the meeting.
Contributions dealing with new data acquisition and methodological
questions, as well as investigations on all scales, from archeological
to geological records are welcome.
Deadline to submision of papers trough online submission tools
http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/sgeg is December 30, 2012.
Please mention in your letter to editor that the paper is for the
special volume.
