[Latinmag] Termination of service support of AGICO KLY-3/4 Kappabridges and JR-5 Spinner Magnetometers

Dear users of AGICO instruments,

Please be informed about the upcoming termination of the service support 
of Kappabridges *KLY-3*, *KLY-3S*, *KLY-4* and *KLY-4S* and Spinner 
Magnetometers *JR-5* and *JR-5A*. The production of the instruments 
mentioned above ended more than ten years ago and service and repairs of 
these instruments is more and more complicated, especially due to the 
lack of the spare parts. For this reason, AGICO will not be able to 
guarantee successful repairs of these instruments.

*The service support of these instruments will end on **30 June 2019**.*

Until that date the instruments can be sent for repairs and refurbishment.

The instruments can be upgraded to the higher versions (KLY-3 to KLY-3S, 
KLY-4 or KLY-4S; KLY-4 to KLY-4S; JR-5 to JR-5A), but the service 
support of the upgraded instruments will be limited to two years from 
the date of the upgrade.

The supply of the standard accessories (sample holders, spare screws, 
spare belts, temperature sensors and so on ) for the instruments will 
continue without further limitation.
