Dear Colleagues,

The University of Plymouth is currently advertising a number of 3.5 year
PhD studentships via the ARIES NERC DTP for projects beginning on 1st
October 2023 (the complete list may be found here [1]).

One of these is a project that will use magnetic anisotropy and
paleomagnetism to determine emplacement directions of sheeted dykes in
the Oman ophiolite. Further details of this project may be found here
[2], along with instructions on how to apply.

I’d be grateful if you could please draw this project to the attention
of potential applicants.
